Through finding my place in the desert I have fostered a deep interest in the way that myself and others interact with the environment around us. I try to represent the relationship that I have with my environment through my work, and I hope to challenge others who view my work to do the same. 

 

The sense of oneness that I have developed with my environment has been strengthened by my work with textiles; it is through this that I have been able to nurture my relationship with the environment in which I exist.

I hand dye all my own yarn, and use color and patterns to connect with the colors and textures of the earth.
